• Solenoid coil can be removed without disturbing the break adjustments

• Fewer joints - the shoe is actually a part of the shoe leaver and not separate from it. This makes fewer mechanical joints and keeps wear points at minimum.

• Lining replacement - linings attached to shoes removable by flat head groove - pins.

• Spring pins - the tight gripping spring pins insure against the loss of pins due to shock.

• Minimum maintenance & Easy to operate.

 

APPLICATIONS

Typical application includes conveyors, hoisting equipment, machine tools, printing press, small cranes, overhead doors, vacuum moulding machines etc.

 

MOUNTING

AC Solenoids (Pull Type) encourages application to a wide range of requirements e.g. a definite pull motion under automatic or distant control in connection with electrically driven machinery. Typical functions include the operation of electromechanical brakes and valves, various short-stroke motions on machine tools. AC Solenoid Operated Brakes type ‘S’ is designed for long life, easy installation, and minimum maintenance. They are electrically released and spring-applied providing ‘Fail-Safe’ operation. Typical application includes conveyors, hoisting equipments, elevators, escalators, machine tools, printing press, small cranes, overhead doors, vacuum moulding machines, etc. Shoe brake is designed and recommended for the use and mounting only in the floor position. Side or vertical mountings are not recommended because the solenoid loading is altered resulting in accelerated and premature coil failure.
